seperation of home and church

Tithing!!!

I should have known that this would be a hot topic when my wife read it. What I didn't know was that it would lead to marital problems of epic proportions. Without going into much detail I was forced to delete Inside Out in Houston and create a private blog.

Blogging in the past had created issues with people getting their feelings hurt after reading a few of my posts, and would further cause problems when i advised them that if they didn't like what they read don't read it. I am not the Burger King of blogging so I don't write it your way. I have always been the you get what see kind of person.

The only issue I have right now is that i have never felt the need to keep something private from my wife. I just cant and wont stop blogging because it the only therapeutic outlet that I have. I enjoy writing and having a place to get my frustrations out.

So for all of my three or four blogging friends I am back with a new page..

To Blog or not to Blog that is the question I am answering here. I choose to BLOG!!!!!

Must admit I do some self-editing, even though The Wife pretends to be oblivious to my blog. I just know she'll tune in at exactly the wrong moment if I don't.

Well, you already know The PK doesn't know about my blog anymore. I told him once and he flipped out over it because people actually commented back on what I wrote. That's why I hardly ever post on the weekends.

And I won't quit blogging either because of it's theraputic qualitites (at least for me). If I need to piss and moan, I do! I just blog it!

Hang in there I/O! :)

Oh, by the way, can I put your new blog address over in my blogroll or would you rather keep it a secret?

I am VERY glad you choose to blog. As you know I gave the hub my blog address but I don't really think he reads it. I feel better for him knowing about it and having the opportunity to read it though. Do I censor my writing? I don't intend to but maybe, just a little bit, unintentionally. I am very sorry that blog about tithing led to problems but I still think you are 1,000% right about it.

PC, I never would have guessed that that blog would have stirred up that much, but the point of this is for me and I chose not to sensor how I feel or my stance on a certain subject for the benefit of others. She coppied and pasted my blog and e mailed it to the whole family with a blistering narrative..I/O
